Shaftless Turret Unwind Stand

Shaftless Turret Unwind Stand

The above Shaftless Turret Unwind Stand was designed along with an accumulator to continuously unwind automotive air bag material into a process line. The chucks were torque activated with spring loaded core doffing pushers to discharge spent cores with out the operator having to step within the machine to retrieve the core.

  • Semi automatic or fully automatic operation
  • Shafted of Shaftless operation
  • Center or surface center winding.
  • Standard or phantom shafted design
  • Closed loop load cell or dancer tension control

Shaftless Turret Unwind with Dancer

This Shaftless Unwind Stand was designed to unwind a fiberglass nonwoven. The unwind includes a bump roll and a flying serrated knife for continuous unwinding. A dancer is used for closed loop tension control.
