The above laminator is a Heavy Duty Dual Burner Three Roll Flame Laminator designed to laminate three crosslink polyethylene foam webs to fabricate a very thick 3 ply tri-lamination as it passes through two successive nip points in a single pass. This machine was designed primarily to laminate poly foam for the sports, gymnastic and wrestling mat industry.

This heavy duty Flame laminator is designed to laminate three web material together by impinging a gas flame against one surface and then the other causing those surfaces to either melt or change state. This creates an adhesive that will bond the three webs together making a 3 ply construction as it passes successively through two nip points in a single pass.
The above picture shows the entire polyethylene flame lamination line from the unwind end showing three floor pick up unwinds, pull roll, tension control system and three roll flame laminator. This set up will efficiently fabricate a 3 Ply foam tri-lamination.
